The Gal Who Can’t Stop Winning

“This bit is important and special to me. It is functionality at its best and I use it on every horse I ride. Only Cowboy Tack has been able to replicate it to the standards for our industry, and make it accessible to everyday riders.”

A Force of Nature

Jordan Jo is a force of nature and a roper to the core. She started roping from a young age and competed in the Colorado Junior Rodeo Association. She then began traveling to rodeos, USTRC ropings, and open ropings around the country with her family. She made history as the first-ever World Champion Breakaway Roper at the Cheyenne Frontier Days for 2019, and she hasn’t stopped winning. Jordan was ranked third at tin the Breakaway World Standings in 2020 and now has a rodeo resume a mile long.

Her goal is to represent breakaway roping with integrity and passion. It is through her leadership as an assistant rodeo coach at Texas A&M and now professional roper that she crafted a platform for the next wave of young women in rodeo sports.

"I want to influence and inspire a new wave of women into Breakaway Roping. We can do that by building on our identities, and our character and owning our place as leaders in rodeo sports. When we do that, the young ladies who are watching can dream of being an athlete and a competitor themselves."

As  Cowboy Tack’s latest pro-ambassador, Jordan Jo has partnered with us to develop the all-new Gal Leg collection of bits. This revolutionary bit recreates and evokes the legendary Ed Workman style, which gives the rider excellent control while being easy on the horse’s mouth.
