Jonathan Gauthier has spent over ten years operating successful horse training and showing businesses. Currently located at Sterling Ranch in Aubrey, Texas, Gauthier earned the status of Top 20 NRHA Professionals, won several prestigious individual titles, and coached the French and Danish Reining Teams to international success.

Jonathan Gauthier has spent more than ten years operating successful horse training and showing businesses. Currently located at Sterling Ranch in Aubrey, Texas, Gauthier earned the status of Top 20 NRHA Professionals, won several prestigious individual titles, and coached the French and Danish Reining Teams to international success.

Gauthier spent four years in Europe, and competing in nearly every European country. The bulk of his time was spent in France, where he served as the country’s national trainer at the 2006 World Equestrian Games. The following there years were spent successfully running his own training business near Munich, Germany.

Upon his return to United States, in 2010, Gauthier won the NRHA Open Futurity levels 1-2-3 and placed 12th in the Level 4 Open Futurity Finals.

He moved to train out of the great Sterling Ranch in Pilot Point, TX where he resides today. Since then, he has made the Finals or won various levels of the Open Futurity. He also co-founded Prospects Unlimited.

Gauthier has created a foundational program for Reining Horses, which has proven highly effective across Western disciplines. He started prospects for top Cutting, Roping, Barrel Racing trainers on numerous occasions. Gauthier’s programs develop horses mentally and physically through exercises and developing effective training tools for ultimate body control.
